UNDERGRADUATE INFORMATION
The Department of the Geography and Environmental Studies offer undergraduate 3 year degrees namely:
- BSc GEOGRAPHY AND HYDROGY
- BSs GEOGRAPHY AND PHYSICS
- BSc GEOGRAPHY AND ZOOLOGY
- BSc BOTANY AND GEOGRAPHY
- BSc GEOGRAPHY AND STATISTICS
THE MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR ENTRY INTO GEOGRAPHY AND ENVIRONMEANTAL STUDIES PROGRAMMES
(i) A full matriculation endorsement, exemption or conditional exemption or its approved foreign equivalent, A minimum of 30 matric points,
(ii) A pass in English of at least 40% (E symbol) at the higher grade (HG) or 50% (D symbol) at the standard grade (SG), and
(iii) A pass in Biology of at least 40% (E symbol) at the higher grade (HG) or 50% (D symbol) at the standard grade (SG).
PROGRAMME RULES
Geography Modules are compulsory for all the Geography Programmes. Some modules are electives for a number of Science and Arts Programmes.
Other students who enroll for Geography modules are from the Faculties of Arts and Education.
