Welcome to the Department of Human Movement Science (HMS) and thank you for your interest in our Department!

We encourage you to take the time to explore our website and to discover for yourself, why our Department is recognized country wide for our Biokinetics programme.

A key feature of our Department is that our students come from a number of different provinces which create opportunity for inter-cultural exchange. This ‘educational diversity’ and subsequent bonding between the students creates a positive learning environment and one in which past students are by in large proud to be associated with. 

We want our students, parents, staff and visitors to feel welcome and as though they have always belonged in our Department.
