Biography:
Tsepiso Buthelezi is a Physics lecturer in the Department of Science Access (Augmented Programme), with 19 years of experience in the field of higher education. She began her academic career in February 2006 in the Department of Physics, where she lectured a wide range of undergraduate modules, including Circuit Theory (a second-year module), as well as several first-year modules such as Introduction to Atomic and Nuclear Physics, Principles of Physics, Elementary Mechanics, Introduction to Wave Motion and Heat, Electricity and Magnetism, and General Physics. Mrs Buthelezi is also a member of several committees within the faculty.

Research interests:
Her interest is in experimental nuclear physics with a focus on nucleon-induced reactions and the structure of atomic nuclei. This includes reaction mechanism analysis and the study of nuclear clustering phenomena.
