Biography:
Ms Zwane Nontobeko is a lecturerof Botany in the Department of Science Access at the University of Zululand.
She graduated with a Master’s degree from the University of Zululand in 2022. She has given two oral presentations at National conferences on the subject matter and published 1 article. Miss Zwane is currently pursuing her PhD at the University of Zululand.
She has contributed significantly to academic initiatives, including designing and conducting scientific experiments, managing laboratory environments, and guiding students
in their practical studies.

- Current Research Interests:
Miss Zwane is currently exploring the various propagation techniques to cultivate indigenous fruit trees. Her research looks into optimizing the propagation of these plants for possible domestication. Her previous research has focused on plant morphology and physiology, ethnobotany, and ethnopharmacology.
