Biography:
Mr. B. Khoza holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Cape Town (UCT), which he obtained in 2013. He further pursued and completed a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Nuclear Power, also from UCT.
Mr. Khoza has amassed eight years of professional experience at Eskom, South Africa’s national power utility. During his tenure, he primarily served as a High Voltage Distribution Substation Design Engineer in the Western Cape. His work experience also includes a stint at Africa’s only nuclear power plant, the Koeberg Power Station, during his Engineer-in-Training program.
His research interests include power system stability, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and the application of phasor measurement unit
