Biography:

Mr Sneyimani is a biokineticist by profession and currently occupies the role of a Lab technician in the department of Human Movement Science. Mr Sneyimani has spent most of his time at Clinical settings, where he has worked with very high-profile clients such as the executive members of provincial management in the Eastern Cape, esteemed health professionals, such as Pulmonologists, Physicians, orthopaedic surgeons, physiotherapists and general practitioners. Such relationships have enabled him to value service quality, become a disciplined and innovative.

Mr Sneyimani has worked with Primary school children, by providing physical education lessons, and has learnt to simplify complex information to the simplest form possible. He has also been assigned the responsibility to be the Professional internship mentor, which enables post graduate students to have a work integrated learning experience, by working with live subjects. Mr Sneyimani’s work extend beyond the classroom as he has made a good reputation for himself, by building relations with the employee relations, by offering incentivized training for the university staff, mutualistic relationships with sport teams such as soccer, tennis, netball and athletics, in strength and conditioning and injury prevention.

One of Mr Sneyimani’s notable achievements was having his client compete and finishing a comrade’s marathon and winning a silver medal on first attempt and the overall transformation of the HMS Gym philosophy, standard operating procedures & resuscitating an income generating arm of the university (Gym) into record numbers.

Mr Sneyimani is a jack of all trades, as he has developed a project management platform, that has reduced overcrowding in the gymnasium facility, such innovation has enabled the facility to increase and retain members on an annual basis. His innovation has bagged him an award under the category: Human development and sustainable communities and has furtherly disclosed his invention to the technology transfer office, under Research and Innovation.

One of the notable responsibilities of Mr Sneyimani is being a departmental representative at the Safety, Health & Environment Committee, that has produced notable achievements, which has enabled the department to bestow its trust on him, as his firepower, he holds an Honours degree (Biokinetics) and currently busy with his master’s degree.
