Welcome to the Department of Botany. We are one of the sixteen department that form the faculty of Science and Agriculture.  Our department is devoted to global excellence by preparing professional health care providers/researchers.

• BSc Botany in combination with: Biochemistry, Geography, Hydrology, Microbiology or Zoology.
• BSc Hons in ethnobotany, ecology, genetics and growth development of indigenous plants
• MSc and PhD

The department of Botany is a multi-professional institution. Its excellent scholars function holistically, ethically and in a socially responsive manner within the African health care environment while actively engaging international collaboration and partnerships for education, research and service.
