rospective students from local school, Ongoye Secondary School, left KwaDlangezwa Campus in awe after attending a community engagement project by the University of Zululand’s (UNIZULU) Department of Chemistry and the South African Quantum Technology Initiative (SAQTI) titled “Viewing the Nano World”. The project is the first of many planned collaborations between the two parties aimed at engaging prospective students. Its goals are to foster interest in STEM subjects, enhance academic performance in schools near the University, and help prepare learners for higher education.
