Biography:
Mr Mduduzi Mzimela is a lecturer within the Department of Zoology at the University of Zululand in KwaDlangezwa Campus. His research interests includes marine and estuarine ecotoxicology using higher order invertebrates as well as the chemistry of estuarine sediments and overlying water.

Research interests:
My current research interests include contemporary contaminants and pollutants which are analysed for biomarker
effects, the effects of pollutants of immerging concern and microplastics.
