Biography:
Hendrik L Jerling is an Associate Professor in the Department of Zoology and PhD from the University of Port Elizabeth now known as Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University (NMMU) .

Research interests:
My research interests focus on estuarine ecology in general, with particular interest in various aspects of zooplankton ecology of estuaries, coastal lakes and nearshore marine environments. Projects include zooplankton community structure of selected KZN estuarine and coastal lake systems
