Biography:
Mr Phumlani L Zondi lecturer in the Department of Mathematical Sciences at the University of Zululand at Kwa-Dlangezwa campus. He has been teaching undergraduate courses in the Mathematical Sciences Department since since 2015.
He holds BSc Applied Mathematics and Computer Science (University of Zululand), BSc Applied Mathematics, Hons (University of Zululand), MSc Mathematical Sciences (AIMS) .His research interests are Financial Mathematics.
Lecture’s the following modules:
Discrete and Further Discrete Maths, Dynamical Systems, Statistics and Maths for Earth and Life Science, Numerical Analysis honours.

Research interests:
Mr Phumlani L Zondi worked in the field of financial mathematics. I have published journal articles wherein I applied the theory of Lie symmetry to uncover invariant solutions of models that arise in finance, especially those that contain stochastic volatilities.
His current PhD project involves studying model-free finance where probabilistic assumptions on the space of price paths are relaxed completely, the approach is coupled with game-theoretic framework.
