Biography:

Dr. Mosima Mabitsela holds a PhD in Agronomy from Stellenbosch University. She is a lecturer and researcher under the Plant Sciences division.  She is currently lecturing the following modules: Seed Science and Technology, Plant breeding, and Applied Plant breeding. She also supervises students at honours and masters level.

Dr Mabitsela’ research interest focuses on underutilised and neglected crops, crop improvement and sustainable agricultural practices.
