The Department of Agriculture offers Masters and Doctoral qualifications. They are designed to ensure postgraduate students are fully prepared for careers in professional and academic paths, equipped for leadership in policy and decision-making, and are competent to contribute to building a vibrant “knowledge economy” in post-apartheid South Africa and beyond.
Masters Degree in Agriculture (MSc Agri)

Curriculum
A candidate shall propose, conduct and report on a research project in the module relevant to one of the following options:

4AAS700- M.Sc in Agriculture (Animal Science)
Plant Science [4MSC18]
4AAS700-M.Sc in Agriculture (Plant Science)
Agribusiness and Management [4MSC17]
4AAS700 -M.Sc in Agriculture (Agribusiness and Management)
Doctoral degree in Agriculture (D Agri)
