Research interests:

Mr Dludla specializes in animal production as affected by different ecological zones. This is specific to five major ecological zones of KwaZulu-Natal. The focus is to seek to understand how differences in environmental factors affect animal management, nutrition, health, and veld management. Current research seeks to understand how different ecological zones affect the hatchability of indigenous chickens, their feed types and intake, growth performance, and management systems. I also seek to understand changes in feed intake and digestibility of grass types in different ecological zones as they affect grazing animals’ performance
