Biography:
Zibuyisile Magubane is a Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science with expertise in cloud computing, data analytics, and applications development. She holds a BSc in Computer Science and Hydrology, a BSc Honours in Computer Science, and an MSc in Computer Science from the University of Zululand.
Since 2020, she has lectured across various ICT and IT programmes, teaching modules such as Cloud Computing, Applications Development, Data Analytics, and Network Architecture. Her research interests focus on the Internet of Things (IoT), resource-constrained devices, cloud computing, and machine learning algorithms.
She has also contributed to community-based projects, including RoboGirl 2024 at Durban University of Technology, where she trained young learners to build smart homes using Python.
