Biography:

Prof Jili is an Associate Professor in the Department of Physics. He has a vast experience on the following modules Nuclear Physics at both undergraduate and postgraduate studies , Mathematical Methods of Physics at postgraduate studies, Quantum Physics at undergraduate studies, Electromagnetism at both undergraduate and postgraduate studies , Theory of Relativity at undergraduate studies

Lecture’s the following modules:
Advanced Electrodynamics
Advanced Quantum Mechanics

Qualifications:

PhD (Physics) (Universty of the Witwatersrand), MSc (Clark Atlanta University, USA)

Research interests: 

Research interests include defect studies in superionic materials using positron annihilation techniques. Measurements of positron lifetimes and Doppler broadening assist us in identifying the nature and quantity of defects respectively.
Wavelet analysis and its application in signal processing
Other research interests include astronomy and theoretical physics
