2020 Registration for Postgraduate Students

The Office of the Registrar has been receiving enquiries from colleagues and students seeking to understand the process of registration during this lockdown period. There are two processes and categories of students, namely, returning postgraduate students and new postgraduate students.

Returning Postgraduate Students: If the student is not owing fees to the University can send an email to Mr Mvubu (MvubuT@unizulu.ac.za) requesting to be registered. All student financial issues should be directed to Mr Makhathini (MakhathiniT@unizulu.ac.za) before approaching Mr Mvubu with registration request. An initial payment of R1500 is required before the student account is activated (self funding) and proof of payment be emailed to Mr Makhathini.

New Postgraduate Students: A new postgraduate student will have to download ADM01 and PGRD2 forms from the University website, fill them in and submit to Mr Maneli (ManeliV@unizulu.ac.za) with all required documents including the letter of admission from the Supervisor. A student number will be created and the letter of Admission to the University will be issued to the student. An initial payment of R1500 is required before the student account is activated (self funding) and proof of payment be emailed to MakhathiniT@unizulu.ac.za

We will try our best to ensure that when we send the proof of registration to the student we copy the relevant Faculty Manager for record purposes. Please note that the University remains closed to students and they are not allowed to come to campus for whatever reason.
